Best Small Cars for 2008

Small cars come in all shapes but limited sizes - how much variation can you get on a theme you might ask so here is our guide to the best that 2008 has to offer.
One of the most keenly received small cars has been the Vauxhall Corsa 1.4 Club. This was one of the leading cars of any class in 2007 and it continues to hold its own in the super-mini category. It is keenly priced but mixes this with a big-car feel that has enticed critics for many months.
Though classed as a super-mini this car comfortably sits four people and has so much space that it feels like a small family car - even the boot has plenty of space - but you wouldn't use it to take a family of four on holiday for two weeks. A nice little quirk is the removable floor that gives that little extra room.
A lot of thought has gone into this vehicle so that it hits all the right spots. The design is solid without being clunky and smart without being showy. It is also a joy to have well weighted controls surrounding the driver. The entire impression is one of a car whose designers have put real thought into its construction. A nice touch is the ease and room of adjustment in the driver's seating position, which is only added to by the placing of the controls around the steering column.
It has a keen suspension without being over savage and excellent fuel economy to accompany it, with the extras and standards being of exceptional quality for a small car.
At the bargain end of the market comes the Fiat 500 - it is far removed from its predecessors with the same name and carries all the qualities you would expect of a rejuvenated Fiat motor company.
At first impression you need to double-take that you are not looking at the original 50 year old styled automobile. This is no bad thing though - a company that is proud of its past and prepared to make use of its heritage in such a model is something to be welcomed. Unlike the Corsa this really is a super-mini - but perfect for what it has been designed for. Boot space is cramped but adequate for such a small car and you can't complain at the price.
The car is very short at just over 3.5 metres but handles better than you would expect due to the wheel placement as close to the corners as possible. The engine is responsive but you will not be buying this car for its power performance. With a 0-60 of just under 13 seconds and a top speed of 100mph it is certainly at the lower end of the market but its real strength lies in it fuel consumption - the Lounge version supplies up to 90 mpg on the open road.
This car would be ideal for urban use - it is small but still demonstrably a car rather than a Smart car and its superb fuel efficiency makes it a no-brainer for commuting and popping off down the shops. It also has the classic Italian styling of the early Fiat 500 but none of the obvious drawbacks associated with those fiats.
Generally, competition has never been tighter in the Super-mini market. Car manufacturers stopped treating this market with disdain a long time ago as it became apparent how demographics were changing society. So many people now live in or around cities and do not settle down to start families, that the small car market has really boomed over the past decade. Furthermore, concern for the environment and increasing fuel costs have concentrated buyers' minds on the economy of the vehicle they are buying whilst they are not keen on compromising on quality.
The two cars above are examples of this development. The Corsa is an outstanding car that has improved over the years and been embraced by the government as an equal brand leader. The Fiat 500 on the other hand has risen Phoenix-like from the ashes of the disaster that was Fiat in the 70s and 80s. A good sign is that they have embraced their old traditions whilst melding it with their current confidence. Two cars from completely different backgrounds - in much the same way as the eye of the Octopus and Human have come from two completely different evolutions but appear so similar, so these two cars symbolise the end product of differing evolution strands.
Both are good cars and demonstrate the health of the small car market admirably.

Bariatric Surgery is a surgery to reduce the fat. It is an operation to lose the weight by making changes to the digestive system.

There are two types of bariatric surgery. In the first type, the stomach is made smaller which make people eat and drink less at the time. The other one is by making changes to the small intestine. The small intestine absorbs the calories and nutrients from the food and beverages.

Hypertension

Hypertension is also known as high blood pressure. It has turned out to be a global issue. In this condition, the force exerted by your blood against the blood vessels increases. This may often result in heart, brain and kidney problems and sometimes premature death.

Cause of Hypertension

Hypertension is directly proportional to the obesity. More obese a person more will be hypertension. Also, it is the cause of many strokes, illness and premature deaths. The pressure of the blood in arteries depends on various hormones. These hormones, in turn, are manufactured in the kidney and fat tissues. In obese people, excess fat tissue increases the level of hormone. Therefore, resulting inhigh blood pressure.

Hypertension and Bariatric Surgery

Bed Bedding Sets

There was a time you remember when all the bed sheets where white cotton but now if you walk into a store you will be amazed to see how many options there are on the market now. You can add color, style, and pattern of your choice to your bedroom with the newest bedding. Read the whole article to know what you should do and know before you spend your precious money to buy new bed sheets.

Read right on the front of the label on the packing, the manufacturer of bedding will tell you the tread count of the sheets. Tread count refers to the number of threads per square inch in both directions in the weave. The higher the thread count, the more luxurious the feel of a fabric. But thing to remember here, as a higher thread count usually means that the individual threads are thinner and may not wear as well. For good wear and to get the softest feel, we would suggest you to choose a thread count above two hundred and fifty but no lower than one hundred and seventy five. For those bed sheets you will sleep on every day, treat yourself. Choose the best you can according to your affordability.

After all, you will hopefully spend more then 8 hours a day lying on them! Cotton is the most popular sheet fabric, but some people prefer non-wrinkling cotton blends and if you need to cut down the price then polyester cotton blends will probably be the right option. For chilly winters flannel is cozy. Snug flannel sheets are loved and recommended for kinds. Flannel is mainly used for bed sheets and sleepwear. There are two type of Flannel in the market, one is made up of carded wool and worsted yarn, but now also made from wool and cotton, or wool and synthetic fiber. For luxury, choose satin, silk, or micro fiber. The second type of flannel does not match the comfort of first one.

Polyester is also a fabric use for bedding but polyester is not suitable for peoples who have sensitive skin. Nevertheless, there is another type of polyester available in the market which is great for those peoples who suffer with allergies. The advantage of polyester and cotton blends wash and wear, wrinkle resistance, durability, high color retention. Lastly satin is a weave that typically has a glossy surface. Luxury satin bed sheets make you feel like a movie star. Satin has glossy surface on one side and dull on other side. It can be woven from various fabrics like polyester or nylon for the less expensive blends.

You might buy a pair of pillowcases in different styles and see which you like best, how they feel to sleep on, how they wash. Then decide if you want a whole set. Be sure whether the fitted sheet is deep enough for your mattress, or that you haven't found a California King sheet set and your bed is an Eastern King. Remember that many sheets will shrink as much as seven percent in the first washing.

Barcodes On Packaging

When it comes to successfully marketing and selling any given food product, the packaging that you choose is incredibly important. In addition to aesthetic concerns like the overall appeal and design of food packaging, practical considerations must be made as well. In most cases, bar codes will need to be included and taken into account when designing a food's packaging. Experienced packaging suppliers will be aware of the many key concerns about using bar codes on food packaging, but it never hurts to familiarise yourself with them in order to ensure the usability and professionalism of your product as a whole. Below, we highlight a handful of the most important concepts regarding packaging and bar codes.

Must Be Clearly Visible -

As you work on the design and appearance of your food packaging, plan where its bar code will be placed in advance. The goal here is to place the bar code in an easily accessible place where it won't be obscured or obstructed by things like seals and seams. At the same time, it should be in a spot where cashiers and others won't have to search endlessly for it. The code should be large enough to stand out readily, and shouldn't be squashed together with a lot of graphics or text. In other words, it should be placed in a way that makes it useful and not a nuisance.

Taking Colour Into Consideration -

Brightly coloured food packaging can definitely add to a product's appeal. However, slapping a bar code over certain colours can render it nearly unusable. Indeed, thee codes rely on high contrast in order to function properly. That, of course, is the reason that most bar codes are printed in a bold, black and white pattern. Even if the packaging you're using includes many different colours, then, take care to designate a blank space for the bar code to be emblazoned. It will make the packaging more usable and effective, and it won't compromise the effectiveness of the bar code.

Make The Bar Code Clear -

As tempting as it might be to squeeze the bar code on your food packaging in as an afterthought, the fact is that you really must make accommodations for it from the get-go. When these codes don't have clearly defined borders - when they are squished in amongst a jumble of graphics or text, for instance - they don't work as well. Similarly, if reflective or glossy material is being used, bar codes might not work as well. While you want your packaging to make your product more appealing - and to protect your product - you also want it to be useful. Having a clear, readable bar code can help it be just that.

Attracting the Right Place to Live Your Life of Attraction

WHAT IF YOU COULD MANIFEST THE PERFECT PLACE TO LIVE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD? What if you could live in sunny Hawaii in winter and cool San Francisco in hot summer! What if you could live in a mansion when you're now making do in a log cabin? What if you could move to the beach next week when you're in a skyscraper in Tokyo today.

YOU CAN DO IT -- you can create the life of your vision and dreams!

Where you live need not be driven by career choice, but by personal decision. With a plan of action, the right technology, a bit of capital and lots of ingenuity, you can choose to live in the mountains, in the city, on both coasts or abroad no matter what profession you want to practice. In fact, you may want to choose where you live before you consider what you want to do.

BEST PLACES TO LIVE AND WORK?

Just what are the best places in America to live? MONEY magazine publishes its new list each summer, comparing about 300 different areas across the country.

Check your library for other reference books or do a search on the Internet. According to the U.S. Office of Management and Budget, the best cities for jobs were (in alphabetical order) Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, Phoenix, San Diego, San Francisco and Washington C. No wonder so many dot-com alumni moved to the Sunbelt cities.

SMALL TOWN OR BIG CITY: TECH TAKES WORK ANYWHERE.

If youre raising kids, youll want to choose a family-oriented community. The organization Zero Population Growth considers 10 factors including population stability, crowding, child health, crime, education, air quality and water resources in determining their top cities. But you may want to find out where the best hiking trails are our where the best fishing ponds are located so that you can enjoy your favorite hobbies together with your family.

Remember, bigger isnt always better. A Zero Population growth spokesperson says, We found a strong correlation between the size of a city or metropolitan area and the overall stress on children.

To find out more about other areas of the country and even job opportunities in Europe or Asia, check with chambers of commerce and online. Many will send you sophisticated packages including fancy DVDs of their town. In fact, some chambers and Economic Development groups will refer you to local recruiters for their area, if you have a skill they need. Or just head to the area youre interested in for a quick weekend. Recently, while staying at a bed and breakfast in a small rural town, the owner tried to get one of my career clients to change her life and help start a local museum with her. All my client had intended to do was visit the area where her grandparents had owned a farm, but the weekend trip turned quickly into a career and life opportunity.

Matching what you want to do with where you want to live can be a creative process. Think about your career and life choices. How could you make them happen in a big city? In a small town? Lets look at these two options with a few different career choices.

1.Want to be a writer/novelist or screenwriter?

Big city: You may choose to be a tech writer at a major computer firm by day and write science fiction tomes by night. You may want to hit New York and get an old college
roommate who lives there to underwrite your off-off Broadway play. Or look up that college celebrity you went to grade school with and head to Hollywood to see if you can get a gig writing for her new reality show.

Small town: Consider turning your familys Mountain cabin into a writers retreat and bring in some old professors to lead some seminars go ahead, be brave moderate some of the short story workshops yourself. You can telecommute to your companys headquarters in Denver from your ski chalet in Aspen. Really think outside-the-box, love Yosemite go ahead and set up a regional theatre repertory program on weekends and work as a forest ranger during the week. Who knows one of the highly-stressed tourists you meet may be a Broadway talent agent.

2.Yearn to be a travel tour leader or a river rafting guide?

Big city: You may choose to create arm-chair multimedia adventures for local travel firms
or get a gig with your local cable station and start your own travel show.

Small town: Check out the scores of caverns, caves or other natural resources nearby and
become a tour guide for adventure trips. Organize a 21st Century travel blog online linking
handicapped travelers together for the adventures of their lifetime.

3.Want to own your own business?

Big city: Are you a great barbecue chef? Consider setting up your own weekend barbecue
catering business as fund-raisers for schools and other non-profits.

Small town: Open up a summer-time only open-air barbecue pit near the largest campground
in the area. In the winter, find a major food conglomerate to buy your family secret barbecue
sauce recipe.

4.Want to sail around the world?

Big city: head to the nearest marina and open up a time-share visit for other would-be sailors who can help finance the boat of your dreams. Borrow a pals Digital Video camera and document wealthy yacht-owners special occasions. You get to sail for free while you sharpen your film prowess.

Small town: Teach sailing to the scouting troupes in the area or design a seniors only class for everyone who shares your dream.

EXPERIMENT:

To challenge you creativity, consider small-town/big city options for the following careers and lifestyles:

*Making a contribution to the world.

*Preserving local history.

*Share a love of gardening and landscaping.

As you consider your lifestyle choices and where youd like to live, there are other factors you may want to weigh:

*Your family situation. Do you have a spouse? Do you want one? Children? Are you a single parent? Does an ex-spouse have visitation rights? Are you single looking for a new partner? Do you have any family commitments that might keep you in a certain area?

*Your bank account. Do you have at least six-months living expenses to get you started in your new community? Keep in mind that the cost of living varies from community to city. Six months bed and board in a small town might total only $10,000 or less, while in a big metropolitan city that might not even cover moving expenses for a family of four.

*Your hobbies and leisure life. Cant live without a quiet walk in the country each weekend? Do you thrive on theatre and nightlife? Whether its rock climbing or rodeo wrangling, make sure you choose a locale thats compatible with you recreational interests or be prepared to start your own rodeo.

*Your social life. True, you can meet terrific people just about everywhere you go. But you may find that your social life revolves around your church or synagogue. All too often many of my clients depend on work to spark their social activities, and when they change jobs they feel left out. Plan to hook up with local community organizations or your alumni chapters in the new location.

But what if you cant afford to move?

Like many of my clients, you may feel limited by lack of resources the green kind! But dont worry, there are ways to beat the bank.

Consider house-swapping, There are lots of online websites that offer to formally swap homes in the country for skyscraper condos in the city. Be sure to check them out carefully to make sure the one you choose is legit. Ive found that its often easier to just tell someone youd like to swap your apartment for a mountain cabin professional organizations like Women in Film or the manager of your gym may have a pal or relative yearning for just such an opportunity.

Investigate house-sitting in the city of your choice. If youre handy, the absentee owner may even pay you a fee for your assistance in fixing that broken porch or mending the roof.

How about going international?

What if youd love to live in Switzerland or deep sea fish on an island in Micronesia? Its possible even on a budget. Before you jump off the deep-end, consider these options:

1)You may want to take a leave of absence from your teaching gig and live in Barbados for a month before you make the final commitment.

2)You may want to see if you can get a regular gig in the new locale, even if you yearn to buy a franchise in the region or set up your own small biz. Having a job will give you time to check out the region without touching your own capital.

3)You may want to work for an American company internationally that has offices or worksites in the locals you yearn to travel to in the future. Or explore the area first with shorter trips before packing your trunks for a permanent move.

4)You may want to keep a safety net back homesublet your house, get a housemate for your home, keep an emergency nest egg in the bank where you come from.

Before you leap to foreign lands, prep for the trek:

Most of my clients spend more time planning a summer vacation than mapping out their life-plans. Even if youre checking account is minimal, you can get a head-start on your dream for little or no cost by:

1)Studying the language in your spare time (most high schools offer low-cost evening classes).

2)Stopping by the consulate for the country of your choice, make friends with the office staff and see what suggestions they have for you.

3)Check out international trade associations such as the Australian Trade Commission which will be glad to meet with you while youre still living in the U.S. and help you prep for your relocation.

4)Place an inexpensive ad in the English-speaking newspaper in the Mexico City where youre yearning to open a sailing school. You may be able to get students to sign up in advance. At least start a subscription or read the paper in online or at your local library to see what the business climate is like in advance.

Soon you'll be saying Adios to Arizona and bonjour to Paris. Joyce Schwarz, author of SUCCESSFUL RECAREERING and the upcoming book THE VISION BOARD knows that this can be done. Watch for an excerpt of the best-seller THE VISION BOARD about how the Shroyer family is living their vision today on a 40 foot sailboat in the Gulf of Texas because they took Joyce's advice!

- Sit with your hands resting on your knees, palms downwards. It is OK to use your hands expressively but don't overdo it;

- Don't slouch in the chair;

- Smile, be happy and have a sense of humour;

- Dress as smart as you can and take a pride in your appearance. If you don't have a suit make sure you wear a shirt and tie at the very least.

- Improve your personal administration. By this I mean your personal hygiene and cleanliness. Make sure you have washed and your hands and nails are clean.

- Make sure you have researched both the Army life and your chosen career/careers. This is very important.

- During the interview do not be negative or disrespectful towards your teachers, parents or people in positions of authority. Remember that you are applying to join a disciplined service.

- Go the extra mile and learn a little bit about the Army's history if you get time. When the panel asks you 'What can you tell us about the Army?' you will be able to demonstrate that you have made an effort to look into their history as well as their modern day activities;

- Be respectful and courteous towards the interview panel. At the end of your response to each question finish off with either 'Sir' or 'Ma'am' or as otherwise instructed.

- Ask positive questions at the end of the interview. Try not to ask questions such as "How much leave will I get?" or "How often do I get paid?"

- If you are unsure about a question don't waffle. If you do not know the answer then it is OK to say so. Move on to the next question and put it behind you.

Finally, believe in yourself and be confident. A positive attitude will bring positive results!

When responding to this question, it would be a positive thing if you can demonstrate you have experience of working in a team. Maybe you have experience of working in a sporting team or need to work as a team in your current job? Try to think of examples where you have already been working in a team environment and if you can provide an example where the team achieved something then even better. Structure your answer around your own experiences and also around your knowledge of the fact that the Army needs to work as an effective team unit in order for it to complete its tasks both safely and on time.

Here is a sample response to the same interview question to help you prepare:

'I have experience of working in a team and I really enjoyed it, so I know I would fit in well. I play for my local rugby team and it is important that everybody gels together in order to win our games. The real test for the team is when we are being beaten and I always try to rally the team together and get us motivated to win back the points we have lost. I understand that the Army needs to work together effectively as a team to get the right result. If the team doesn't perform then people's lives can be put at risk. Being an effective part of the team also means that I would have to train hard and keep up my competency levels, which I believe I would do well. With my experience of team sports and having the ability to pull a team together when the chips are down, I think I would be a great asset to the Army team.'

You will see that the above questions is very well constructed.

Now let's take a look at some important tips for preparing for the Army interview.

- When you walk into the interview room stand up straight with your shoulders back. Project an image of confidence;

- Don't sit down in the interview chair until invited to do so;

- Sit with your hands resting on your knees, palms downwards. It is OK to use your hands expressively but don't overdo it;

- Don't slouch in the chair;

- Speak up and be positive;

- Smile, be happy and have a sense of humour;

- Go the extra mile and learn a little bit about the Army's history if you get time. When the panel ask you 'What can you tell us about the Army?' you will be able to demonstrate that you have made an effort to look into their history as well as their modern day activities;

- Finally, believe in yourself and be confident. A positive attitude will bring positive results!

Anxiety Blocks Connection

Anxiety Blocks Connection

On the heels of my post on connection, which was both comforting and spike-inducing for some of my readers and course members, Im elaborating on the topic of connection, specifically this one line:

Of course, when anxiety is at the helm, its difficult to feel attached or secure anywhere and with anyone.

What does this mean? It means that when youre trapped in the sticky thought-forms of anxiety, youre not going to feel connected to your partner. It doesnt matter how beautiful your connection is at its core. It doesnt matter if youve spent a day, four months, or two years feeling deeply connected to each other. When anxiety takes hold, it rips all of that away from you in a single moment and steals the aliveness from your life. Anxiety, while often manifesting in the body, is a head state, and if youre in your head youre not present and if youre not present youre not going to be able to access the feeling of connection. Why? Because we dont connect head-space to head-space. We connect heart-to-heart. Thats where the pool of love lives.

As a member shared on the Break Free From Relationship Anxiety/Conscious Weddings E-Course forum:

So I know I am not the only one who was spiked by Sheryls recent blog post on connection! But for me, this is the part that spiked me:

Heres my definition: Connection is a sense of home and safety. Its the person you long to be with when the world feels like its crumbling. Its your safe base and your safe haven, the person to whom you have healthfully and securely attached even when your ego wants to pull you away and tell you otherwise. Of course, when anxiety is at the helm, its difficult to feel attached or secure anywhere and with anyone, but were talking about the baseline place beyond fear, the place beyond anxiety.

Okay, this is how I also define connection, and this is how I felt with D for just over a wonderful year. But honestly, without exaggeration, as SOON as that first what if I dont love him? thought hit me and the anxiety took over my body, that sense of home, that safe haven, that connection dropped out of my body and it never came back. Even after working through so so much of my anxiety and thoughts, even after getting to a good place where I dont worry about my relationship as much as I used to, 9 months later and that lovely connection hasnt come back. Those loving feelings havent come back. In fact I spend 99% of my time feeling disconnected and detached from D, and its made worse of course by the fact we are long distance now. Its not in a way which makes me want to leave, because I desperately want to work on it and get it back, because I KNOW I can feel this way with him, I know he does feel like home.

To which I responded:

Did you see my response to your comment on the blog? Please read it and let it sink in. Connection comes first and foremost from your own self. If youre disconnected from yourself, youre going to be disconnected from your partner. Its the same with sexual aliveness: If youre cut-off from your own aliveness, youre going to be shut-down sexually with your partner. Its your responsibility to light your own match and kindle your own fire. So what I hear in those who were spiked by my post is, on one layer, a refusal to take responsibility for their own aliveness and to do the work to help you reconnect to your own sense of Self. Ultimately, its about filling your well of Self. When the well is full, you will be connected internally which will then lead to connection with your partner. And if a sense of home was your baseline when your heart was open, then you know it lives in you when the channels are clear.

Now, what does it mean to take responsibility for your aliveness and not fall into the number one pitfall of relationship anxiety, which is believing the projection that says that your lack of connection or aliveness is because youre with the wrong person? It means, first and foremost, recognizing that youre in a projection! This is 90% of the work. The rest is practice.

Imagine that the stories youre telling yourself (your projections) are suspended like orbs around your mind and heart. These orbs carry a tremendous gravitational pull urging you to direct your attention to them and regard their tales as truth. If you believe their stories, you will remain stuck in their thought-forms, as the stories themselves are designed to convince you to keep your partner at arms length so that you dont take the risk of loving.

The stories are the gatekeepers. As long as the stories are in charge, theres no access to the heart. Thats their entire mission: to keep your heart protected behind the barriers of thought-forms. And if theres no access to the heart, youre not going to feel connected to yourself or your partner.

The path to break free, then, is to work diligently with your thoughts and remember that your mind is trying to protect you from the realm of feeling: the uncertainty, the unknown, the grief, the vulnerability, and the risk of loss. What weakens the force of the gravitational pull of the stories is naming whats happening over and over and over again. Im in my head or Theres an intrusive thought or Im telling myself a story. When you pop the bubbles of the gatekeepers the stories you drop into your body and feel your feelings. Then you open. Then you can connect.

Youve probably had an experience of this happening: Youre trapped in the bubbles of the stories and then, perhaps from doing inner work, perhaps in a therapy session, perhaps from working through the e-course, the bubble pops and you suddenly see clearly that the problem is not your partner. Once the bubble pops, you drop into your body and feel the feelings that have been barricaded inside the anxiety. Youve thawed out and can now open to yourself and your partner. This can take months of practice to access the heart more regularly, but even one experience of naming your stories and dropping into your core self can serve as a baseline reminder of what you know to be true when anxiety isnt in the way.

Remember this: The degree to which the stories are activated and pulsing is the degree to which you are afraid

to be here

in this body

in this moment

with all of the messy, uncomfortable feelings that are a part of being human.

The anxiety is unmanageable; the feelings are not. And the anxiety comes from attaching to the stories, which is another way of saying that when were attached to the stories were abdicating responsibility for our inner wellness and wholeness. This is our work in relationships, at work, in friendship, with family, and in life: to take full and passionate responsibility for ourselves, to look at our stuck points and ask for help in illuminating our blind spots so that we can shift from a habit of blame to a habit of vulnerability with a mindset of growth shining the way. This is, perhaps, the hardest and most important work we can do in the world, and it must begin with you.

An Unhappy Marriage How to Know When It's Really Over

It's a fact. There are a lot of people who feel unhappy in their marriage. But the real question many of them are asking themselves is, how do I know when my marriage is really over?

Is it when your spouse says, "I don't love you anymore?" Is it after an affair takes place? How do you REALLY ...It's a fact. There are a lot of people who feel unhappy in their marriage. But the real question many of them are asking themselves is, how do I know when my marriage is really over?

Is it when your spouse says, "I don't love you anymore?" Is it after an affair takes place? How do you REALLY know? Keep reading to find out how to identify the warning signs that often indicate your spouse has given up on your marriage.

First and Foremost: Has your spouse reached The Point of No Return?

What is the Point of No Return in a marriage? Is there such a thing? After working with couples for over 11 years, I've identified a specific "path" that couples travel on the way to divorce. And at the end of this path is what I call...The Point of No Return.

But I'm getting ahead of myself...let me back up for a second.

In most cases, your marriage is NOT over when:

- Your spouse moves out
- When your spouse says the infamous, "I love you, but I'm not in love with you anymore"
- When your spouse threatens you with divorce

And believe it or not, in some cases, your marriage is NOT over...when your spouse files for divorce.

Your marriage is NOT over when your spouse begs, pleads, argues, screams, storms out of the house or turns the whole family against you.

Quite the contrary, The Point of No Return in a marriage IS confirmed when your spouse looks at you as if s/he were dead.

There is no life in your spouse's voice and no life in his/her eyes. Your spouse doesn't get angry with you. S/he simply tells you when the divorce papers are going to be served. S/he's already gone to the court house, found an attorney and has a service date set for the divorce proceedings.

Your marriage is most likely over when your spouse has made complete lists of assets and debts with your both of your names on them. Your spouse has already decided on the custody plan and cleaned out any bank accounts with their name and yours and closed all the credit cards that you share.

Your spouse has reached The Point of No Return when s/he already knows the courts require a 120 day waiting period and s/he has emotionally bolted him/herself in place for the long wait.

You've gone WAY beyond an "unhappy marriage" when your spouse has talked many times to the children about divorce and they are now either scared, angry, hurt, confused or emotionally shut down.

There's a good chance your marriage is over when your spouse doesn't care about how your children feel about it. S/he is only acting for his/her own survival at this point and s/he has repeatedly convinced him/herself that "The kids are good, they'll be fine." S/he may have even said that to friends and relatives.

This is the REAL Point of No Return. I've found that when your spouse has reached the Point of No Return, no one can save your marriage at this point. Not a priest, pastor or marriage counselor.

So How Did this Happen?

A marriage gets to this point because we live in a society that is convinced that once you are married, there is nothing you need to learn about marriage and nothing you need to practice.

All you need is love.

If you don't have love, then it's all your fault that your marriage failed. Because of this belief, you kept on doing exactly what you always did...your version of love.

You treated your spouse the same way your father treated your mother...or vice versa. You kept on doing the same thing and kept on getting the same results.

Your spouse could not help you to help him/her. No matter how many times s/he told you how to meet his/her needs, you couldn't hear...you just couldn't understand.

How do I know this?

I know it because every single divorce is built on the same system. When your emotional needs are not met in a marriage, anywhere from 1-3 of the situations listed below will begin to take place in your marriage.

Because you know virtually nothing about how to be married and how to support each other's needs, you have no way to stop these issues from happening:

- Affair
- Sex failure
- Communication break down
- No Loyalty
- In-Law problems
- Grew apart
- Fell out of love
- Blended family issues
- Abusive attitudes
- Depression
- Angry spouse
- No romance
- Ignores me
- Money problems
- Children problems
- Avoids me

If your spouse has not yet passed the Point of No Return, you can still save your marriage; there is still hope for the two of you. But you need to do something TODAY to improve your unhappy marriage. Believe me, I get emails daily with stories about marriages that took a turn for the worst in a matter of WEEKS.

These people simply waited too long and before they knew it, their spouse had reached the Point of No Return. So my message to you is this...DON'T WAIT. Do something for your marriage TODAY...before it's too late. You can start by getting FREE marriage advice at http://www.marriage-success-secrets.com.

Airline Travel - Understanding Bereavement Fares

The death of a loved one is a very difficult time. Dealing with all the details of final arrangements on top of dealing with travel details can be quite a challenge. Airline companies across the world realize that tedious travel details are the last thing that you want to deal with when a family member has died. They also understand that finances may be tight when dealing with final preparations. This is why many airlines have established bereavement fares.

Death can be very unexpected when it comes to our family members. The death of a loved one can cause many unexpected expenses. Getting to the location of where the other family members are and preparing for the final arrangements may prove to be a high and unnecessary expense. Airline companies try to make your travel when dealing with a death of a loved one an easy, affordable transaction. Airline companies usually offer bereavement fares to people who are traveling due to the death of a family member.

Bereavement fares are considerably less than standard fares. People flying with certain airlines may experience discounts of up to 80% off due to the fact that they are traveling due to a death in the family. There are usually special sales representatives that are thoughtful and compassionate who will help walk you through purchasing your tickets and providing the best-discounted airline fare possible. These sales representatives are specially trained to take the burden off you and ensure your satisfaction.

If you are traveling due to a death in the family, it is important that you call the airline and speak to a sales representative directly. They will inform you of the polices and various procedures that they have in place that entail bereavement fares. There are many different ways that airlines offer their services to living relatives experiencing a death in the family. Many airline companies will allow a passenger bereavement fare for only certain members of the family. For example, you may be permitted to receive bereavement fare if your parents and/or grandparents pass away, but it may not be offered if the family member is a cousin, aunt, or uncle. It all depends on the airline that you are dealing with and what types of policies that they have in place for family member specification.

If you are trying to sign up for bereavement fare and your needs meet the expectations as set forth in the airlines policies and various procedures, you may be asked to submit vital information pertaining to the death of the loved one. Some of the information that may be asked of you is the proof of death, possibly a copy of the death certificate, your identification, the hospital, and name of the doctor that dealt with the death of the loved one, and your relation to the deceased.

It is important to understand that most airlines are hesitant to offer bereavement fares that are international. If you require these types of arrangements, it may be in your best interest to pursue them through a specialized travel agent.

After You Retire

After You Retire

After You Retire

The day has finally arrived. You just said goodbye to your colleagues and now you are retired. For years you dreamed of this - being able to stay up late, sleep in when you choose, go on vacation during what USED to be your busiest period at work.

Whats it really like?

Most people feel euphoria when they taste the freedom that comes with their first pension cheque. Their time is now their own, to do what they want WHEN they want. After six months or so, though, if they havent determined what they will DO with all that time, they usually feel let down or depressed.

Many new retirees feel a sudden loss of identity, especially if they derived a sense of status or power from their former jobs. This is a different life, with different rules. It isnt about money or power now - its about the meaningful things you can do with the rest of your life, as well as making use of the leisure time at your disposal.

Maybe you worked for someone else for 30 or more years. During all that time, you may have had little time to think, let alone plan for yourself. Now you must decide how to spend your hours, days and weeks. If you strongly identified with your job and felt close to co-workers, you may (perish the thought!) find yourself missing your old place of employment.

Thats because your workplace provided a few other things apart from an income. Now its UP TO YOU to build these elements in your daily life.

For a happy retirement, you need THREE things - Purpose, Structure and People.

1. Purpose

Its important to have a game plan BEFORE you retire. Will you start a new career, go back to school or focus on travel, beginning with a cruise to Alaska?

When you get up in the morning, you want to feel excited about the day ahead. Visiting your grandchildren will help to fill up your time, but depending on your health, you probably have energy for much more!

Your life needs meaning, whether you find this through a different type of work, friends or adventure seeking. You may decide to develop a creative talent, which is an adventure of another sort.

2. Structure

Of course you wont miss that nasty alarm clock waking you up every weekday morning at the same ungodly hour! Sleeping in is a reward all its own. However, if you find yourself sleeping half the day away, you have a problem.

As a retiree you need to build some routine into your days.

Part of my routine is doing grocery shopping or errands in the morning, when it is less crowded. I also fit in my exercises before noon - whether its cycling, working out at home or walking along the river. This is so much easier than exercising after a full workday. I remember how hard it was to push myself when I was feeling tired!

You may decide to join a gym, or take up yoga or ballroom dancing. Your activities will shape your schedule. Even if you are working in some fashion, you should have the flexibility to make exercise part of your day. As we get older, staying mentally and physically active is what keeps us fit and alert.

Studies show that regular exercise can give us an additional 10-20 years of autonomous living. Health issues also gain importance as we age. We need to take better care of our nutritional needs and get enough rest. Why should we end up in a wheelchair or nursing home before our time?

3. People

Your former job probably came with its own social network. Its not always possible to remain friends with your colleagues, especially if they are still in the workforce for some time to come. Your schedules and interests may really diverge and you can find that you dont have all that much in common anymore.

You may have family and/or personal friends who are also available when you are. Retirement gives you an opportunity to do more things together - have picnics on a warm summer day, go skating, see concerts. The world is your oyster.

This is also the perfect time to join associations or groups - everything from Toastmasters to origami work groups to hiking clubs. Some people enjoy volunteer work or getting more involved in church activities. Whatever you do, it is vital to feel connected to others.

As for me, I dont consider myself retired, only no longer in the paid labour force. Its a relief not having to commute to work every day! When Im not with clients, I spend afternoons in a cozy home office, though my hours vary and some days I never turn on the computer.

Once a week, I make a point of sitting in a downtown caf to simultaneously write in my notepad and people watch. At least once a year, in the low season, I vacation on the sandy beaches along the Gulf of Mexico. Most of my time is taken up with my new career as life coach, as well as with my writing. As long as health permits, I plan to stay active and busy until my mid-seventies or more.

I hope that you quickly find your own way in this brave new world, and make your retirement years the best of your life!

After the Breakup The Dos and Don'ts of Dealing with Your Ex

After the Breakup The Dos and Don'ts of Dealing with Your Ex

Everyone knows breaking up is hard to do. But staying in contact with your ex following a breakup? That's where things get really tricky. By remaining in each other's lives, you run the risk of a post-breakup rendezvous, holding onto feelings for your ex, and in general delaying your ability to heal and move on quickly (and without additional heartache). The following are some tips to help you avoid a post-breakup backslide into your exs arms, and instead ease you into your happily ever after future:

Tip #1: Create new boundaries
Your best defense after a breakup? Immediately create new boundaries with your ex. That means no phone calls, no emails, no texting, and definitely no late night booty calls. Your ex is now your ex. That means it's time to ex-tricate him from your life. If you can't completely cut off contact because you have children together, run a business together, or work together? Your recovery is a little bit more challenging. But it's not impossible. You just have to create special new boundaries, only dealing with and talking to your ex when absolutely necessary about your common interests, i.e. the children, business, work. If your ex wants to know how you're handling the breakup? Shut him down. If he's curious if you're dating again? Tell him it's none of his business. The same is true for you. Don't pry into your ex's post-breakup recovery. Just as you deserve to heal and move on, so does your ex. Give him the space and time to do so.

Tip #2: Avoid being one another's shoulder to cry on
You loved, you lost, you're now in mourning. A word of warning when you're in post-breakup mourning: DO NOT seek comfort in the arms of your ex. That's a huge recovery no-no! Instead, recruit a support system from your inner circle of friends, preferably friends who have your best interests at heart and won't report back to your ex on your progress and setbacks. This is actually one of the single most important steps you can follow during your breakup recovery. To heal and move on, you're going to need help. That help should NOT come in the form of your ex. The same is true for you. If your ex calls, emails, texts, or stops by seeking comfort for his broken heart? Don't open your arms. Instead, kindly but firmly let him know that you are no longer his go-to support system. Then shut the door on any and all opportunities to help each other heal following the breakup.

Tip #3: No online ex bashing
After a breakup, it's only natural to feel some residual anger, resentment, bitterness, etc. And in the era of social networking sites and YouTube, it's all too easy to go online and spew in front of millions of readers/viewers. Don't do it! By going online and bashing your ex on your blog, via video diary, or to everyone in your social network, you are inviting bad breakup karma into your life. And you know what they say -- what comes around goes around. When it comes around? Ouch!

Tip #4: Handle the dreaded run-in with class
While it would be fabulous if your ex could be automatically ejected from the planet following the breakup, that technology has yet to be invented. And depending on the size of the city you live in, a post-breakup run-in with your ex is not only possible, it's probable. Rather than become a shut-in out of fear of your ex encounter, embrace the possibility and plan for it. First, imagine the absolute worst case scenario: You haven't showered in days, your clothes are wrinkled and smelly, your hair is a mess, and you happen to run into your ex on a date with the most gorgeous girl you've ever seen. In fact, they're engaged, as evidenced by the huge shiny rock on her left hand. Can you see it in your mind? Pretty painful, right? Chances are, that's not going to happen. In fact, your ex encounter will probably be a lot less dramatic than this scenario. However, the pain may still be there. In bumping into your ex, you may be reminded of what you loved about him. It may even reignite those familiar feelings of love, lust, or just plain loneliness. Do not use the run in as an excuse to reconnect. What's done is done. Your ex is now your ex. Bumping into him does not mean that the two of you are meant to be together. Instead, summon that inner strength, smile politely, and extricate yourself from the situation as soon as is possible without being rude.

Tip #5: Follow the six month rule
After a breakup, the best rule of thumb is to avoid all contact with your ex for at least six months. Think about what you can do in six months -- train for a marathon, plan and take a well-deserved vacation, buy property, change jobs, heal and move on after a breakup. In giving yourself a six month cushion, you greatly increase your chances of getting over your ex. In the throes of post-breakup angst, you may not like the sound of that. Like it or not, it's what's best for you. Rather than fight what you know is right for you, give yourself permission to put the six month rule into practice.

So there you have it, five tips for handling contact with your ex following the breakup. If you adhere to these guidelines, your post-breakup recovery will be that much easier. In letting go of your ex, you give yourself permission to heal, move on, and eventually find your very own happily ever after. Good luck and happy healing!

After Parents Die

Many adults are often surprised at how their relationship with siblings changes after parents die. Family traditions stop or change and many siblings find that they feel less connection to their brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Parents are often the glue that hold family traditions, communication and the memories of childhood together and when they are gone, so often go the opportunities for gathering. You can never go home for holidays.

Add to this the fact that there are so often disappointments, hurts and misunderstandings as family members divide up the parents estate and it is no wonder that the family that once was, changes into something very different. The recognition of this often brings about a new phase of grieving for adults and can come as quite a surprise for many.

Many adults are surprised by how hard it is to lose a parent and some even report feeling like an orphan. Finding a way through new relationships with their extended family, often trying to let go of some of the childhood roles and feelings and developing new adult relationships and rituals requires patience, persistence, forgiveness, love and a desire to continue with the familys legacy.

Changes In The Holidays

So how can you accept the changes, maintain some of the old rituals and develop new ones? One of the first questions to ponder is Are you the only one interested? Sometimes that is the case, especially after a few years and both parents have been gone for a while, and children and grandchildren have grown and moved away.

Some people do not desire to continue with old patterns and are glad to interrupt the connection with sisters and brothers with whom they had a great deal of conflict or generally poor relationship or for whom the visits home provided more stress than happiness.

Some families maintain close ties and find the connection very comforting. Traditions carry on in many of the same ways and the family finds ways to honor their parents even after they are gone. One family that I know makes sure to have some of the same foods that their mother made, making sure to have her red velvet cake and a special country ham shipped in from their mothers home town, even if they celebrate the holiday a few days before or after the actual date of the holiday. They continue to vacation together in some of the same places and the group just grows to incorporate the new members.

Other families, ones who are not as emotionally connected or live out of town and no longer have a home base, find that it is more difficult to stay connected and may only have occasional phone or email contacts and irregular family reunions. Many express a feeling of loss and sadness at the changes and are often disappointed not to be able to share their family traditions with their own children.

However your familys pattern develops, it is important to be prepared for changes, anticipate feelings of loss and possibly even some relief. Have conversations with those in your family that want to be connected and talk with them about how to plan family connection and tradition with the new generation at the head.

Adirondack Mountains Quick Facts

Location: The Adirondack Mountain Range is located in northeastern New York State. It is spread out over Clinton, Essex, Franklin, Fulton, Hamilton, Herkimer, Lewis, Saint Lawrence, Saratoga, Warren, and Washington counties.

Mountains: The 8,000 square miles of mountain peaks and summits in the Adirondacks are in no particular order. They are not connected like the Rockies. The Adirondack Mountains are actually a natural dome that has been eroded to make up over a hundred peaks. They range in elevation from 1200 to 5000 feet plus. In the eastern part of the range, Mount Marcy is the highest peak at 5,344 feet high followed by Algonquin Peak at 5114 feet, Haystack; 4960 feet, Skylight at 4926 feet, Whiteface at 4867 at feet, Dix at 4857 feet and Giant at 4627 feet. "The 46" as they are called are the 46 highest peaks and are sought after by avid mountain climbers. Two brothers, Robert and George Marshall climbed all 46 peaks between the years 1918 to 1923. This mountain range also is utilized as a drainage divide for the Great Lakes Basin and Hudson watershed. During the ice age, The Adirondacks were covered by the Laurentian Glacier which helped to form over 2,300 lakes and ponds that still exist today. The rock that makes up the mountain range is almost a billion years old, but the uplift that formed the Adirondack dome is only 5 million years old and continues to rise and shift to the present day.

History: The Adirondack Mountains were given their name by Ebenezer Emmons who anglicized it from the Mohawk word, "Ratirontaks." Ratirontaks means "They eat trees" or "Bark Eater" in the Mohawk language. The Mohawks used it to describe their neighbors, the Algonquians in a negative way because of the way they ate bark and buds from trees. Both tribes hunted and crossed through the Adirondack Mountains but never settled there. Samuel de Champlain was the first European to discover the Adirondacks. French trappers worked the region starting around 1642 along with Jesuit missionaries trying to convert the neighboring native populations. After rich iron deposits were discovered in Champlain valley, a period of mining ensued, bringing with it settlers and industry. By 1885 congress created the Adirondack Forest Preserve which protected millions of acres of land for future generations. This was followed by the founding of the Adirondack Park in 1892 with over six million acres.

Nowadays, the area is used extensively for recreation. There are numerous hotels, hunting lodges and vacation cabins scattered throughout the area along with cities and towns. The major resort areas include the areas of Schroon Lake, Lake Placid, Saranac Lake, Lake George and St. Regis Lakes.

Achieve A Happy And Healthy Lifestyle With These 10-Months To A Better You Challenges

Instead of making several promises and new year's resolutions at a time, make it easy on yourself. To achieve a happy, sustainable and healthy lifestyle, why not focus on just one resolution to work on each month? Here are some suggestions you can try;

Month 1: Rest, relax, play.

Start the year right by focusing on yourself. Reserve time for reviving a favorite hobby or learning a new one. Hobbies unleash your creativity and relieve your stress. Your hobby might even bring you extra cash if you're really good at it. You can check out online resources for money-making ideas or home-based businesses.

Month 2: Give up a bad habit

Resolve to give up one bad habit this month. Every day, do one thing to ease the discomfort of dropping a destructive habit. Addicted to soda? Give up your lunchtime soda habit first and then move on to your dinnertime soda.

Month 3: Leave the office on time

The spring break will help you enforce this resolution. Leave work early enough so you can spend more time with yourself or your family. Remember, there will always be things to do at work no matter how often you work overtime.

Month 4: Get moving

You can pay for a weight-loss-program or you can burn calories in a more cost-friendly way. Here's how: Walk, climb, run. Get off at the next taxi stop rather than the one right in front of your office building. Take the stairs. Instead of watching TV after dinner, get a walk or run around the block.

Month 5: Go green

The world celebrates World Environment day every 5th of June. Do your share even in a small way. Segregate waste, recycle papers and bottles, and save earth's limited sources. Definitely a perfect way to have a sustainable and healthy lifestyle.

Month 6: Eat healthy

Good nutrition means eating healthy foods. Make sure to come up with a healthy diet plan that associates healthy eating groups such as vegetables, healthy protein, healthy oils, plenty of fluids, fruits and whole grains. Minimize eating processed foods and you should have fresh foods served every day.

Month 7: Save money
Set this month for a budget review. If you've been living from payday to payday, start saving now. Put aside a small amount a day and save them each month. Better yet, apply a banking service that automatically transfers money from your salary account to your savings account.

Month 8: Control your temper

Work on controlling your temper and being more patient in times of arguments or circumstances. Identify and remove your triggers. To effectively manage your temper, take time to think before saying anything, express your emotion in a no confrontational way, spend some time to do enjoyable things, give yourself a break and most importantly, work on resolving the problem instead of focusing on the problem.

Month 9: De-clutter

Anticipate the deluge of new stuff and clothes during payday or holidays by freeing closet space. Get huge boxes for items to throw, fix, sell or donate. A more orderly household equals greater efficiency and less stress.

Month 10: Celebrate life and appreciate what you have

Celebrate life and have fun doing enjoyable activities with your loved ones. Focus on the positive and set aside the negative ones. Always have something to look forward to everyday and appreciate all the blessings in your life.

Moreover, the key to a happy and healthy lifestyle is about making step by step changes in your diet, daily activities and mindset.

Abusive MenTop 10 Signs of an Abusive Man

Abusive MenTop 10 Signs of an Abusive Man

Abusive men are often survivors of abuse themselves. Signs of an abusive man can range from emotional, verbal, physical, or sexual abuse. Frequently an emotionally abusive man is also a verbally abusive man or a combination of all abuse types. A sign of an abusive man can usually be found after a few dates if you pay attention, ask a lot of questions and do some investigating into his past.

Abusive relationships are characterized by control games, violence, jealousy and withholding sex and emotional contact. An emotionally abusive man is harder to pin-point and a skilled, abusive man can easily make you think you arent good enough or that everything is your fault. According to an on-going abuse poll conducted by http://www.WomanSavers.com, http://www.womansavers.com/p_pollresults.asp?pID=5 of over 7,000 women over 56 percent had been sexually abused. It is just as difficult to recover from emotional abuse as it is from physical abuse. Emotional abuse causes low self-esteem and depression. An abusive man may tell you he loves you or that he will change, so you wont leave. However, the more times you take him back, the more control he will gain. Empty promises become the norm. Make sure you pay attention to his actions and not merely his words. As the old saying goes, actions speak louder than words. Abusive relationships are never abusive in the beginning. If they were, women would dump the abusive men immediately in search of a good man.

According to the American Psychological Association Force on Violence and Family, over 4 million American women experience a serious assault by a partner each year! Who can forget when heavy-weight champ Mike Tyson was convicted of raping Desiree Washington and sentenced to six years in prison. Tyson served three years before being released on parole. Thereafter, he married Robin Givens but they divorced on Valentines Day only a year later because Givens claimed Tyson abused her. Abusive behavior touches all ranges of society.

We have broken down the top 10 signs of an abusive man. If your partner exhibits one or more of these signs, it may be time to reevaluate your relationship and seek help or get out.

1. Jealousy & Possessiveness Becomes jealous over your family, friends, co-workers. Tries to isolate you. Views his woman and children as his property instead of as unique individuals. Accuses you of cheating or flirting with other men without cause. Always asks where youve been and with whom in an accusatory manner.
2. Control He is overly demanding of your time and must be the center of your attention. He controls finances, the car, and the activities you partake in. Becomes angry if woman begins showing signs of independence or strength.
3. Superiority He is always right, has to win or be in charge. He always justifies his actions so he can be right by blaming you or others. A verbally abusive man will talk down to you or call you names in order to make himself feel better. The goal of an abusive man is to make you feel weak so they can feel powerful. Abusers are frequently insecure and this power makes them feel better about themselves.
4. Manipulates Tells you youre crazy or stupid so the blame is turned on you. Tries to make you think that its your fault he is abusive. Says he cant help being abusive so you feel sorry for him and you keep trying to help him. Tells others you are unstable.
5. Mood Swings His mood switches from aggressive and abusive to apologetic and loving after the abuse has occurred.
6. Actions dont match words He breaks promises, says he loves you and then abuses you.
7. Punishes you An emotionally abusive man may withhold sex, emotional intimacy, or plays the silent game as punishment when he doesnt get his way. He verbally abuses you by frequently criticizing you.
8. Unwilling to seek help An abusive man doesnt think there is anything wrong with him so why should he seek help? Does not acknowledge his faults or blames it on his childhood or outside circumstances.
9. Disrespects women Shows no respect towards his mother, sisters, or any women in his life. Thinks women are stupid and worthless.
10. Has a history of abusing women and/or animals or was abused himself Batterers repeat their patterns and seek out women who are submissive and can be controlled. Abusive behavior can be a generational dysfunction and abused men have a great chance of becoming abusers. Men who abuse animals are much more likely to abuse women also.

If you continue to stay in an abusive relationship because you think he will change and start treating you well, think again. An abusive man does not change without long-term therapy. Group counseling sessions are particularly helpful in helping abusive men recognize their abusive patterns. Type A personality types seem to be more prone to abusive behavior due to their aggressive nature. Drugs and alcohol can create or further escalate an abusive relationship. Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous are excellent programs for an addict. The abusers partner should also seek help for their codependent behavior at Codependents Anonymous.

If the abusive man is not willing to seek help, then you must take action by protecting yourself and any children involved by leaving. By staying in an abusive relationship you are condoning it. If you are scared you wont be able to survive because of finances, pick up the phone book and start calling shelters. Try calling family, friends and associates and ask them if they can help or know of ways to help. Once you leave, the abuser may cry and beg for forgiveness but dont go back until you have spoken to his counselor and he has completed long-term therapy successfully. Be prepared for the abuse to increase after you leave because the abuser has lost control. The Bureau of Justice Statistics states that on the average, more than three women are murdered by their husbands or boyfriends every day so please be careful. If you partner is not willing to seek help for his abusive behavior, your only option is to leave.
